Springtime is here and our heavy fighters preapare to fullfill their duty for society. Heavy Fighting combines, in the spirit of the Society for Creative Anachronism, arts and sports (that is, why it is called “marial ARTS”). Join our weekly heavy fighters practise at the lovely, green Vienna Prater hockey stadium.
The 2023 boot camp at the Shire of Meadowmarsh is over. We still think over the lessons learned and the new friends we have gained. We had some of Drachenwald´s finest fighters with us, who loved to share their experiences in theory and practise. Of course we took the opportunity to such a large bunch of heavy fighters for melee. Nothing is more exciting than the clash of two heavy fighter groups in full armor and full speed. Once more the superior tactics has more influence on the result as the induvidual quality of a fighter.

Dü-Day -9: Our Heavy Fighters still have a little bit time left for preparations to Boot Camp Düdelsheim in the lovely neighbourhood of Meadowmarsh. Let´s break some of our equipment today, so that it can be easily be fixed until then. Join us for our weekly heavy fighters practise like each Wednesday at the hockey stadium in the Vienna Prater. Flood light will be provided, since the outdoor hockey training has already started!
Dü-Day -16: Our heavy Fighters are looking forward to meet you at Boot Camp Meadowmarsh, better known as „Düdelsheim“. Last preparations and few opportunities to get into shape for meeting our SCA-friends in Meadowmarsh: so come and join our Wednesday heavy fighters practise at the Hockey Stadium in the Prater. Many thanks to our gentle neighbour Baron Aelric of Battle for his visit in Vienna! We enjoyed an inspiring heavy fighters practise. Freshly motivated we will deepen our learnings this Wednesday at our weekly heavy fighters practise at the Hockey Staidum. Come and join our progress!

On Satureday, February 4th, we invite all heavy fighters to end the winter break. Join us at our lovely training site in Vienna, enjoy heavy fighting (pick ups, training feedback and scenarios) till sun sets. We will then continue with socializing in Vienna.
Site for “Heavy Candlemasse 2023” will open at 11 a.m. No fee necessary. Guests welcome.

Evenings are getting quiet at the Hockey site. This means undisturbed heavy fighters practise each Wednesday, as this evening. Join us and enjoy the full load of heavy fighting (as last wekt, the week before and the incoming week).
A great event lies behind us. Parasol War 6 brought us heavy fighters intense experiences and -most important- new friends. This Wednesday it is necessary to collect our learnings, echchange feedback and decide the next focus. Wehre do we want to get better as a goup? How can we improve our indivudal skills?
